Zhao Jiguang, Chairman of CSG Sensing Company, and His Entourage Visited Chongqing University for Exchanges

On March 27, Zhao Jiguang, the chairman of CSG Sensing Company, and his entourage visited Chongqing University for in-depth exchanges on scientific and technological innovation, achievement transformation, and future cooperation plans. Liao Ruijin, the former vice president of Chongqing University, Hu Jianlin, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering, and others participated in the activity. The symposium was chaired by Du Xiong, the vice dean of the School of Electrical Engineering.

 

At the symposium, Hu Jianlin extended a warm welcome to Zhao Jiguang and his entourage and expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided by CSG Sensing Company to the university and the school. Subsequently, he mainly introduced the scientific research layout and achievements of the school in recent years and emphasized the significance of university-enterprise cooperation in tackling key technologies and meeting the strategic needs of the country.

 

Zhao Jiguang highly agreed with this and pointed out that the profound accumulation of Chongqing University in basic research on power transmission and transformation complements the engineering capabilities of CSG Sensing. He hoped to further strengthen cooperation with the School of Electrical Engineering in scientific research, achievement transformation, and other aspects to accelerate the application of technologies from the laboratory to the front line of the power grid.

 

Tian Bing, the director and deputy general manager of CSG Sensing Company, Zhao Liang, the senior manager of the Advanced Sensing Research Center, and senior researchers Wang Zhiming and Luo Baifeng, as well as teacher representatives from the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University, participated in the exchange activity.
