The 2025 University-Enterprise Docking Activity for AI Industry Project Technologies Was Successfully Held

On March 20, the 2025 University-Enterprise Docking Activity for AI Industry Project Technologies, jointly organized by enterprises and institutions such as the Mianyang Science and Technology Bureau and Chongqing University, was held at the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University. Du Xiong, the vice dean of the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University, and others participated in the docking activity. Representatives from enterprises and institutions such as the Mianyang Science and Technology Bureau, the Management Committee of Mianyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company, and many experts and scholars from the School of Electrical Engineering, School of Optoelectronic Engineering, School of Computer Science, and School of Mechanical Engineering and Vehicle Engineering of Chongqing University conducted in-depth exchanges on AI technology research and development, industrial demand docking, and university-enterprise cooperation. The activity was chaired by Zhang Ke, a second-level researcher of the Mianyang Science and Technology Bureau.

 

 

Du Xiong warmly welcomed the arrival of representatives from various units in Mianyang and reviewed the achievements of Chongqing University in promoting the integration of industry, education, and research. He pointed out that Chongqing University has always been oriented towards serving the major strategic needs of the country and is committed to building interdisciplinary collaborative innovation platforms. He hoped that through this docking meeting, university-enterprise cooperation could be deepened, the tackling of core technologies and the transformation of achievements could be accelerated, and new momentum could be injected into the development of the AI industry.

 

Xu Hongyang stated that as a national science and technology city, Mianyang is fully promoting the construction of the AI industry chain. This technology docking meeting has built an efficient communication bridge between local enterprises and universities. It is expected that the two sides will form a long-term cooperation mechanism in fields such as technology research and development, talent cultivation, and project incubation, contributing to the high-quality development of the regional economy.

 

During the meeting, units such as State Grid Mianyang Power Supply Company, Mianyang 404 Hospital, Fulin Precision Industry, Sichuan Bilang Technology, and Sichuan Changhong Education Technology released their demands for AI technology applications, covering fields such as wireless power transfer, pulmonary function testing, and environmental water quality analysis.

The research teams of Chongqing University simultaneously showcased a number of cutting-edge achievements, including the "3D Electric Field Navigation Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Electrode Implantation Surgical Robot" and the "Research and Development of Ultra-Low Field Magnetic Resonance Equipment and Design of Gradient Coils".

 

The participating representatives conducted further discussions around specific technical requirements and research results. This in-depth communication has further strengthened the practical foundation for university-enterprise collaborative innovation and laid a solid foundation for subsequent achievement transformation and large-scale application.
