The Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition is the first national event in China focusing on energy electronics. It aligns with the guidance “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Energy Electronics Industry” issued jointly by six ministries, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, aimed at promoting the development of the energy electronics industry. The competition aims to facilitate breakthroughs in energy electroniscs technology innovation, accelerate the integration and application of technology, and promote the widespread use of new generation information technology in the energy sector. It also seeks to cultivate several energy electronics enterprises with international leadership and enhance discipline construction and talent development systems. Themed "Creating Intelligent Energy Electronics, Building Industrial Innovation," the competition is positioned to support the implementation of China's dual carbon" strategy. It consists of four main tracks: Solar Photovoltaic, New Energy Storage Products, Key Information Technology, and Key Terminal Applications. The Key Information Technology track aims to accelerate the development, application, and ecosystem construction of critical information technologies in the energy electronics industry, promoting breakthroughs in technology and enhancing product supply capabilities. Professor Liao Ruijin served as the head of the expert group for the Key Information Technology track of the competition. He provided explanations on the competition topics related to the application and ecosystem construction of key information technologies and delivered a brilliant report on "Key Technologies of Digital Twin for Power Equipment." His presentation showcased the excellent professional expertise and rigorous work style of Chongqing University, earning high recognition from the industry and the organizing center.
