On the afternoon of December 21, 2021, the 2021 annual summary commendation ceremony of School of Electrical Engineering was held in the Science Auditorium on Campus B of Chongqing University. The faculty and students of SEE gathered together to look back on this extraordinary year and look forward to the coming year of 2022. The ceremony was presided over by Hu Xuesong, deputy Party Secretary of the school.
Xie Kaigui, Party Secretary of the school, on behalf of SEE reported the work summary of 2021, comprehensively reviewing the achievements gained by the school in aspects of party-masses construction, students cultivation, teachers resources, scientific research, epidemic prevention and control and so forth. Xie Kaigui said that these exciting and inspiring achievements are the fruits of success accumulated by every electrical engineer starting from small steps.
Furthermore, in order to extend the gratitude and welcome to the retired staff and new staff, this ceremony included the emeritus and induction sessions. This year, the prize for Outstanding Contribution was awarded to Yang Fan and Meng Fanqi; the prize for Excellent Undergraduate Training was awarded to Xiong Lan and Xu Qiwei; the prize for Excellent Graduate Training was awarded to Yao Chenguo and Zhang Zhanlong, followed that, Niu Fuli was awarded Excellent Laboratory Teacher and Ai Bing received Excellent Administrative Teacher. In addition, student Ran Qingyue, Zhong Wenxin, Qiu Yuting, Liu Yunfan and Song Yijia were awarded Outstanding Student Prize.
Professor Yao Chenguo from the Department of High Voltage and Insulation Technology gave a speech on behalf on award-winning teachers, expressing his appreciate for school’s recognition and support.
Zhong Wenxin, an undergraduate student, gave a speech, telling her journey of becoming an excellent student representative.
At the end of the ceremony, Xie Kaigui expressed the best wishes to the teachers and students and hoped that all can continue to strive for the greatness in the coming next year.
