On April 15, 2021, Professor Kan Za, Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Shihezi University, and Associate Professor Xu Liming, Vice Dean of School of Electrical Engineering of Shihezi University visited School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University. The two sides held a symposium discussing partner assistance, Dean Li Jian, Vice Dean Wang Xiaojing, Yang Fan, Hu Jianlin and Professor Yang Zhifang attended the meeting.
On behalf of the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University, Professor Li Jian firstly extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Dean Kan Za and his group, and also introduced the latest achievements of the School in aspects of talents training, scientific research and the construction of teaching team. Dean Kanza also expressed his sincere thanks to the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University for the long-term support and selfless help to Shihezi University. He hoped that both sides could continue to deepen cooperation and maintain the profound friendship.
Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth exchange on the core support needs such as the development of undergraduate professional certification, the recruitment and training of postgraduate students, and the construction and training of teaching team. Attendees from both schools shared valuable work experience and practices during the meeting.
